Worst Date Competition Winners

Congratulations to those of you who posted the 25 entries received by noon yesterday and, a massive thank you to everyone for their subsequent "Likes" and comments, we are delighted to announce that Teri Cole is the Winner.  Judging by the number of "Likes" and, the comments currently being posted on Facebook, she is without doubt the worthy winner. Here is Teri's worst date:

"Before I got married I went on a date wiv a bloke from a club. I couldn't remember what he lookd like, so 2my astonishment a 4foot, fat, bald, ageing bloke rung the bell. Best of it was, he had the cheek 2turn up wi an old rusty, lime-green micra! ;o So, decided 2go as was at a loose-end. We went 2a bar in merchant city, an I was hopin 2hav a few and make this guy look remotely winchable, wen 2my further astinshment...my dad and his boyf walks in!! In normal circumstances, this wld not b a problem, but the fact that the guy I ws wiv looked like Danny DeVito on steroids, did not go dwn 2well!! Several pitchers of cocktails later,we crawled out the bar 4a taxi, wen Mr. DeVito himself got in2 an altercation wi party goer ova a Greggs sausage roll!!! I decided it ws time 2split an sped off in the 1st taxi possible whilst screaming "drive, drive, drive!!!" Lol"

Teri wins a a romantic overnight stay for 2 people at the Blythswood Hotel in Glasgow with dinner for 2 and use of the luxurious Spa facilities as outlined in the original deal blog post.

We hope that Teri's romantic break turns out better than the date she told us about and, that she will let us know how she enjoys her prize.

RUNNER-UP
Claire Thomson Little did extremely well and was only just pipped for 1st prize so, we thought we would award her one of today's great deals - Full head highlight treatment with 2 colours. Cut and blow dry and deep conditioning massage as outlined in today's blog post.  Here is Claire's entry:

"I was out on a date with a then boyfriend and had had slightly too much to drink we where sitting across from each other talking when the next minute had the urge to be sick while chewing gum, all over his trousers, i noticed i had dropped my chewing gum so picked it up off his leg n started chewing it again! yuck yuck yuck lol."

We have also decided to award 2 x Papa John's Pizza Deals (as mentioned here) to Gary Young.  Gary's entry was posted after the initial 12 noon deadline yesterday however, he still managed to amass 64 "Likes" in the comparatively short time his post was on the Facebook Page - well done Gary.
